Who can be a member of the PTO?

PTO memberships are available to anyone who has a family member enrolled in Fox Elementary.

When are the PTO board meetings?

PTO board meetings are typically held on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 4:15 pm. However, specific meeting dates and times may vary and will be posted on the PTO calendar.

Am I required to join the PTO board meetings if I purchase a membership?

No, attending PTO board meetings is not a requirement for membership. Meeting notes will be posted within 1 week of the meeting for those who are unable to attend.

How do I volunteer with the PTO?

To volunteer with the PTO, you must first complete the Klein ISD background check. This background check needs to be repeated every school year. Once you have completed the background check, you can log into your PTO portal to view upcoming volunteer opportunities and join volunteer committees.

Do we have a student directory?

Yes, we have an online directory. Access to the online directory is granted to those who become members of the PTO. If you prefer a hard copy, you can even print the online directory at home. The Membership Toolkit app and website allow you to easily access phone numbers and addresses of your friends without the need to carry around a physical directory.

Do I need to have a membership at access the website?

No, if you do not need a PTO membership, you will still have access to the PTO Calendar, volunteer opportunities and facility directory with Favorites and Wishlist.
