Welcome to Fox PTO

I would like to give a BIG welcome to all the incoming Kindergarteners and their families and all the returning students and their families. You are all members of the Fox Elementary Family and I couldn’t be happier.

As you know, the Parent Teacher Organization sponsors over 40 events and activities throughout the school year, all made possible by your participation and support of our fundraisers.

With your support, we have been able to support: class fieldtrips, classroom parties, Author in Residence visits, Assemblies, Science Nights, groups such as: Student Council, Service Squad, Safety Patrol, Science Olympiad as well as help purchase supplies for teachers and their classrooms.

We were also able to purchase benches and picnic tables on our playgrounds, new playground equipment for our Kindergarten area, a Rockwall for our gym and grant funds to purchase extra special classroom items normally not available. Over the past 2 years we raised enough funds to help Fox Elementary purchase and install new lockers so that all 2^nd thru 5^th grade students have their own locker to use.

As you can see, with all our combined efforts, our children and teachers can have the resources to build a bright future.

As you and your child go through the school year, you will notice that the PTO sends different fliers home with products to purchase and events to come to. We try to offer everyone an opportunity to support the school and their children in a way that works for them.

We offer products such as Cookie Dough, Entertainment Books, Restaurant Nights as well as Family Events like: School Dances, Santa’s Workshop, Family Fun Nights (Movie nights and Bingo.) Plus services such as School store on Friday’s, Spiritwear sales and Bagels and juice/water sales on Wednesdays. We have several opportunities for your extended family to support your child’s school as well with Box Tops collection program and Campbell’s labels, plus the Meijer card, Target for Education and GFS’s program. We host PTO meetings each month to keep families informed. All meetings start at 8:30am- and this is a great way to meet other families. We would love to see you there!

Lastly, please get involved. We have many committees that need help… even a little helps a lot! And studies have shown that children that have parents involved in their children’s education do much better than those that do not.

Let’s all make a difference and help our Children flourish and bloom at Fox Elementary!
